Jeffrey Dean Morgan Reveals Strange Happenings on the Set of the Possession!
So I wake up this morning and I am enjoying my morning coffee and checking up on the local news and entertainment info on my droid. I have the CNN app and an app from NBC LA that is also really good. I check the Entertainment Movie section of the NBC app and I see a story titled “Jeffrey Dean Morgan Reveals “Weird Events” on “The Possession” Set” You can read the full story there.
Here’s what what Jefferey Dean Morgan had to say about the strange things that happened…
A 5k light exploding during key scenes 3 or 4 times. He’s never seen that happen before on any set.
Gusts of winds indoor with doors closed and no fans nearby.
The main movie props were kept in a storage unit after shooting was completed incase they needed to go back and reshoot any scenes. This included the Dybbuk box (the box in the film that contains the evil spirit.) A week after filming ended the storage unit burned to the ground. It wasn’t arson, it was an electrical fire that started from within.
Anyways, read the article. Makes me want to see the movie even more now. And yet, I know I won’t see it until it comes out on DVD.
The Possession
A young girl buys an antique box at a yard sale, unaware that inside the collectible lives a malicious ancient spirit. The girl’s father teams with his ex-wife to find a way to end the curse upon their child.
